Built From Experience. Created With Purpose.

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge was created from a deeply personal understanding of what families experience when trying to navigate autism and developmental services.
Our founder spent nearly two decades as an elementary educator, but some of her most meaningful lessons came from raising her daughter, Bella, who has autism, significant support needs, and complex communication challenges.

Through years of navigating ABA, occupational therapy, speech therapy, education, and medical services, she experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to coordinate care across multiple providers while trying to ensure that the person at the center of it all is truly understood.

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge was created to offer families a more connected path forward.
A place where professionals work together.
A place where families are heard.
A place where individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
And a place where every person is supported as a whole individual, not simply as a diagnosis.

Why Jacob & Bella's Bridge Exists

Families should not have to become the communication system between disconnected providers.

They should not have to repeatedly explain the same needs, concerns, goals, and experiences to separate teams that rarely collaborate.

And they should not have to choose between clinical expertise and compassionate, individualized care.

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge brings ABA, occupational therapy, and speech therapy together within one coordinated model.

Our professionals collaborate with one another and with families to create greater consistency across treatment, communication, daily routines, and long-term goals.

We believe better collaboration creates better support.

Our Mission

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge provides compassionate, individualized, and coordinated ABA, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services for children, teens, and young adults. We partner with families and licensed professionals to support communication, independence, meaningful participation, emotional well-being, relationships, and quality of life.

We see the whole person, not just a diagnosis. By presuming competence, honoring each individual’s dignity, and collaborating across disciplines and everyday environments, we create support that is practical, connected, and meaningful. Our mission is to help each individual build on their strengths, communicate in the way that works best for them, and participate in the relationships, activities, and experiences that are important to them.

Our Approach

We See the Whole Person

A diagnosis may help explain certain needs, but it does not define the individual.

We consider communication, sensory needs, emotional regulation, independence, relationships, daily living skills, family priorities, and the environments where everyday life takes place.

This whole-person approach allows our team to develop care that is more practical, connected, and meaningful.

We Presume Competence

Every individual deserves to be treated as capable of learning, growing, communicating, and connecting.

Some people communicate differently.

Some require more time, support, or alternative approaches.

Some may not yet be able to demonstrate everything they understand.

We believe those differences should never diminish a person’s dignity, potential, or opportunity to participate in decisions that affect their life.

Families Are Part of the Team

Parents and caregivers know their loved ones in ways no evaluation or clinical session can fully capture.

Their observations, concerns, priorities, experiences, and goals are essential.

We listen.

We communicate openly.

We explain what we are doing and why.

And we work alongside families to create strategies that can carry into everyday routines, relationships, and environments.

Collaboration Is Essential

ABA, occupational therapy, and speech therapy often address different pieces of the same real-world challenges.

That is why our professionals do not work in isolation.

Our team collaborates so goals, strategies, and recommendations can support one another rather than compete with one another.

The result is a more coordinated experience for individuals and families.

Our Values

Dignity & Respect

Every person deserves to feel safe, valued, heard, and respected.

Presuming Competence

We believe every individual has the ability to learn, grow, connect, and communicate, even when those abilities may be expressed differently.

Individualized Care

Treatment should reflect the individual, not a standardized program.

Family Partnership

Families are essential members of the care team and deserve clear communication, transparency, and meaningful involvement.

Whole-Person Support

We consider the complete person rather than focusing on a single diagnosis, behavior, or isolated skill.

Collaboration

Professionals and families should work together toward shared, meaningful goals.

Safety & Trust

Every individual and family should feel physically and emotionally safe while receiving services.

Integrity & Accountability

We are committed to ethical care, honest communication, clinical responsibility, and following through on our commitments.

Meaningful Progress

Success should improve everyday life through greater communication, participation, relationships, independence, and quality of life.

A Family-Founded Organization

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge did not begin as a business concept.

It began with lived experience.

Our founder has bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Liberal Arts, a Master of Education, teaching and school administration credentials, and nearly 20 years of experience as an elementary educator.

Her experience as a parent and advocate ultimately shaped the vision for Jacob & Bella’s Bridge.

After years of navigating services for Bella, she saw both the challenges families face and the difference compassionate, collaborative professionals can make.

That experience also led to the creation of Access to Voice, an organization focused on helping nonspeaking and minimally speaking individuals gain access to communication.

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge represents the next part of that mission: creating a place where families can access coordinated services while knowing their loved one is respected, supported, and presumed competent.

Clinical Care Led by Qualified Professionals

Although Jacob & Bella’s Bridge is family-founded, clinical decisions are made by licensed and credentialed professionals within each discipline.

Our ABA services are led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst.

Our occupational therapy services are led by a registered and Texas-licensed occupational therapist.

Our speech therapy services are clinically led by a Texas-licensed speech-language pathologist who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

Each clinical director is responsible for treatment decisions, professional supervision, ethical standards, and quality of care within their respective discipline.

This structure allows Jacob & Bella’s Bridge to combine family-centered leadership with discipline-specific clinical expertise.

Supporting Children, Teens & Young Adults

Jacob & Bella’s Bridge serves individuals from birth through age 23.

We recognize that support needs do not disappear as children become teenagers or young adults.

In fact, many families find that services become harder to access as their child gets older.

We are committed to supporting individuals across different ages, abilities, communication styles, and levels of support need.

We especially welcome families of nonspeaking and minimally speaking individuals and individuals who may require significant or ongoing support.

Care Beyond the Clinic

Real life happens outside the therapy room.

That is why our model is designed to support individuals across the environments where they live, learn, communicate, and participate.

Depending on clinical need and the service being provided, care may be available in:

Our clinic

The home

Community settings

Telehealth when appropriate

Our goal is to help skills carry into everyday life rather than remain isolated within therapy sessions.

Our Vision for the Future

Our long-term vision is to help raise the standard for compassionate, coordinated autism and developmental care.

We want families to have access to professionals who communicate with one another.

We want individuals with higher support needs to have meaningful options.

We want teenagers and young adults to continue receiving support as their needs evolve.

We want parents and caregivers to have access to education, resources, community, and other families who understand their experiences.

And as Jacob & Bella’s Bridge grows, we want to expand carefully into underserved North Texas communities without sacrificing the quality, culture, compassion, or individualized care that define our organization.

Growth will never be the goal by itself.

The goal is to build something families can trust.

More Than a Therapy Center

We want Jacob & Bella’s Bridge to become a lasting resource for families.

A place where questions are welcomed.

A place where professionals collaborate.

A place where parents and caregivers feel supported.

A place where individuals are recognized for their strengths.

And a place where every person has greater opportunity to communicate, participate, build relationships, develop independence, and experience a meaningful life.
